at least you guys have decent bars. the closest bars to my place are guido-infested white trash bars and korean dive bars, which, fwiw, are fantastic for being very korean, but are also completely devoid of any alcohol that actually tastes good.

sounds like Fort Lee, NJ

I wanna move to NY (0).

edit: Someone hire me please.

Fort Lee has my favorite korean place ever--So Kong Dong.

That's another thing I like about my area--I can hop on my bike and get across the bridge in like 10 minutes and go there.

damn I was assuming by your description that you were in like Murray Hill near K-town or something and was just going to tell you to just pick up cougars during happy hour in gramercy or at like hotel bars in midtown lol

that's ok. it's not the only cool place in the world. i'd love to leave for a couple years and live overseas, but easier said than done

Plus, I just felt like I wasn't "cool" enough to live in Williamsburg--like "hey you wanna go to this secret Danny Brown show in Bushwick on Wednesday?" "sorry, I have work in the morning..."

By healthy i mostly mean filled with protein.

Can't beat dem Rotisserie Chickens or Bistek or Beef Stew for a postworkout meal. Side with some rice and beans or some fried plaintains hnnnng.
