Just watched Ocean's 11 for the first time tonight (I know, I know), and holy shit, one of the first shots is a dude in an OG MMM 5-zip!

not hundreds, just 5-15. shockingly, the story i read had one unnamed source who said "hundreds" and then turned out to be wrong

Next there will be a leather jacket made of belts or something.

I liked Margiela's fall show more than I've liked most recent Margiela. You gotta admit, this thing is pretty insane.

see, if moo looked like he was having a blast in bermuda rather than standing against a wall, we'd be respecting that fit rather than saving it to our desktops

Well casualty includes those injured and killed, so it's not wrong.

I guess everyone used up their "thoughts and prayers" statuses on Boston earlier in the week, because none of my Facebook friends have made a peep about this explosion, which, I think, is almost as horrific. The video taken by that dipshit Father of the Year candidate is gonna stay with my much, much longer than anything related to the unfortunate Boston incident.

The difference is that one was willful and the other is an accident. Also, most people probably don't know anyone in West, TX.

i think it's pretty clear that people respond more strongly to a deliberate attack than they do to an accident. it's kinda the same deal with the gun debate. the newtown shootings sparked a lot of attention, but mass shootings like that are actually a relatively minor problem compared to the chronic gun violence in places like Chicago (http://abcnews.go.com/ABC_Univision/Politics/chicagos-gun-violence-role-national-gun-debate/story?id=18365373#.UXAPoIWVnz8). but planned attacks on bystanders are horrific and shocking in a way that chronic gun violence and accidental explosions aren't. it's not necessarily rational, but that's just the way it is.

Were there any photos or on site video reporting from the Newtown? I've heard it was a hoax.

I get where you're coming from, but that sort of diminishes the lives lost in this accident. They're still dead tragically through no fault of their own.

a lot of people did question what actually happened, but all the skepticism has been pretty much debunked http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/11/sandy-hook-hoax-theories-explained-debunking-newtown-truther_n_2627233.html
