I'm so excited to see white/pink glistening fat men walking down the street with england shorts and a can of fosters. Sundays supposed to be up to 19.

socal has the best weather. it's unreal how consistent it is. new york weather is miserable for part of the year, but the city is unbeatable, which is why i don't think i would live anywhere else in the U.S. i would take the weather in miami though. i like hot and humid. it's like rio.

worst weather in an amazing city has to be in London. holy crap. every season in one day. haha. i don't know how londoners do it.

Stepped outside today and realized it is time for me to get a nice, big-ass hat

so has anyone here who's posted about wanting a sweet wide-brimmed hat actually bought one? there has been a sad lack of hat fit pics as of late.

can anyone recommend a reeeally thin insole? basically i just want some traction. my guidis are slippery inside and they're long enough but when i walk my foot slips forward and hits the end on occasion.

Spenco comfort insole maybe? They're flat so no added arch support or anything. about .3 cm in thickness

Most of what you see in my recent purchases I wear with comfort in 90+ weather and I break out my outerwear pieces that I can count on one hand at anything less than 70. I haven't experienced what you described to view summer heat negatively yet haha

I never got used to that muggy heat and humidity. Deep south summer heat in the US is appalling. Most of the US gets appalling summer weather. You don't want to be out in it. I am sure the islands you speak of get nice sea breezes, but that is not representative of the general US summer experience.

We had marble floors in my house growing up that were always wet with condensation in the summer. Posters on the wall would curl. I had a white boy almost-afro growing up. I think my IQ dropped 10 points from the heat during August. It was ridiculous.

Socal weather is best overall, unless you like seasons in the east coast sense of the word.
