We actually do, at least in the living room and the bedroom...so either they don't work all that well or the levels never got high enough to trip them.

Yeah, it's not that bad right now. Dipping below freezing at night, but better than two months ago.

California state law requires carbon monoxide detectors in every house that is rented out. I'm not sure about houses that you own. Also they required it when my uncle re-financed his place to get a lower rate. Turns out it likely saved his life as he had the heating system redone and the idiots didn't install the vent properly so the exhaust was going into his attic instead of exiting his place. The alarm went off at like 3 in the morning.

Haha yep the "ex girlfriend" thats what I thought was going on. At first I thought it was a company advertising it and kept seeing it thinking - is this selling so well they always have it in the middle of my screen?

In some semi unstructured with a bit if floppiness but can also be shaped. Gray charcoal or tan similar to felt paper or straw. Something SZ approved.

I live in a 3 story house converted into apartments. Each floor is a separate apartment. A couple of months ago I kept hearing a consistent beeping from the apartment upstairs. It was really annoying, so after a couple of hours I went upstairs to see what was going on, and as I was standing infront of the door I realized it was actually a carbon monoxide detector going off. I freaked out, ran out and bought one for my apartment, opened all the windows (it was the middle of the winter), and spent a restless night half-asleep. And of course in the middle of the night the fucking detector in my apartment went off. A visit from an inspector and a series of angry phone calls to my landlord later, it turned out the detector upstairs was malfunctioning and the alarm in my apartment couldn't be explained.

dude asking about mirrors: I've found that the $5 target mirrors (the second cheapest they sell) are pretty true to life. the absolute cheapest ones are really distorted.
