It's going well, though I'm running into the issue of finding a pair of casual pants that aren't my APC's which means that all I really wear are my APC's, which isn't really a problem but sometimes I tuck in my shirts and so I'd like to wear trousers because jeans-tucks are awkward.

I keep looking at the pair of khaki chinos in my closet but i never feel like putting them on because I don't like the way the color looks with all the black. I think I need something a bit more tan and less brown. Or straight up off-white. Or olive. Or just dark gray/black (which I don't own).

Haven't you been doing this since you joined? And not by choice.

I think you remind us every 3 months or so.

I've just kopped a grail of mine and shoes I've been wanting for a long while.

After I find a nice piece of outerwear, I think I'll be done and be undercover on the purchases a bit.

I feel so satisfied. blush.gif

Are you sure you're satisfied?

Anyone remember what this uniqlo undercover ss12 piece is called? I have one to put on B + S in size medium but I can't recall the model name at all. It's like a light travel jacket in a nylon cotton blend.

'part time' state employees can't work more than 29 hours a week so the state doesn't have to give them health insurance

for some reason graduate teaching assistants are considered 'part time' for this program, yet i'm paid out at 40 hours a week

uh oh guess i can't get paid for several months!! lol!!

You're covered under the university's health plan though, right? Shouldn't make a bit difference to you. Maybe your graduate adviser can slip you an envelope with $50 and some coupons for free tacos from the Taco Bell in the student union to make up for those 11 hours every week.
