Man I would love the day I find MY leather jacket. The day it happens it will probably be like a more conservative Rick/Margiela leather if anything.

Also what the hell do people think about Doctor Martens? Should I steer clear? I wore them once in elementary school but I never understood how to incorporate it into your daily wardrobe.

You incorporate them into your daily wardrobe by putting them on your feet

"I really like your conservative leather jacket, and oh, are those Doctor Martens you're wearing?"

I've started a minimal wardrobe experiment of paring down my wardrobe to like, just a few pieces in black, white, and purple (and associated shades). Gonna see how it goes or if i just get hella bored with it.

My one question is whether stone gray or khaki chinos would work better if I want to wear casual pants that aren't jeans. Or just go with black.

What I'm using as the wardrobe: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Black Leather Jacket (ToJ)
Black Suit Jacket (Uniqlo)
Black Suit Pants (Uniqlo)
A bunch of white Dress Shirts (Uniqlo/BB)
Purple dress shirt (BB)
Dark gray dress shirt.(BB)
White OCBD (BB)
Pink OCBD (BB)
Black OCBD (Uniqlo)
Black Jeans (APC)
Black tie (CK)
Purple Tie (Bloomingdales)
Black Boots (Military Surplus)
Black Dress shoes (AE)
V-Neck shirts (Hanes)
White sneakers (vans)
Purple V-Neck Sweater (Camicassimia)
Black V-Neck Sweater (Uniqlo)
Black Chunky Cardigan (+J)
Black Down Vest (Uniqlo)

that text message conversation at the beginning of the ptwilliams thread was incredibly uncomfortable to read

Me: “I'm in the city tonight”

PT should have escaped the conversation right there.

No hope beyond this point. Abort abort.

I have a pair of jeans that got splattered with slush that left dark brown stains the first time I wore them. I tried washing them, and then stupidly put them in the dryer without checking the splatter because I washed them inside out. The stains didn't come out, so I tried using Shout to help; I left the Shout on overnight as recommended on the back of the bottle and it didn't work. I then tried soaking them in warm water with a bit of detergent in the sink to see if it would help loosen the stains before putting them in the wash, but I noticed that they were bleeding a lot so I took them out early. I then lay them flat in the bathtub and sprayed more Shout on them thinking maybe it would help that they were already wet. I let the Shout on overnight again and washed them today but when I took them out of the washer the stains were still there. The jeans look like they're starting to fade from all the washing, and I want to avoid fading as much as possible.

Does anybody know a way I can get the stains out? Should I just take them to a dry cleaner and ask them if they can get the stains out?

Thanks.

Rap songs would be 12 seconds long if more women were like Denise.

Wow! Sold something on eBay. Did not realize that the fee to close the transaction was 9%. Don't think I'll be using them anytime soon.

Go look at the FVF's for fixed-price listings. Shit is 13 percent if it's in the "media" category.
