1) they're selling ss versions
2) wait until sales or man up and pay retail if you really want one. sometimes you gotta bite the retail bullet.

I actually really like the black cotton twill Andover they have at Odin right now (was looking at it the other day after getting some tacos nearby). It is $400+ though...

If you can find me a coat with that silhouette for 1/10 the price, I'll probably buy it.

I should have said "similar" not "identical". I'm not saying CCP isn't good, just that the price premium is unpalatable for most, even enthusiasts. Carol and his team produce some incredible stuff. My earlier post was too strongly worded.

the only CCP Item I've ever really loved is the long wool coats, and the best 'budget' alternative I've found is the zamb copy which is basically identical for 1/4th the price (and in cashmere!)

I have been looking for a pair of grey melange wool trousers all winter since my COS ones fell apart. Randomly stumbled upon a seemingly perfect pair from Peir Wu in a cashmere blend for about 200 on Farfetch. Instakopped.

Got them today. Hands down the best fabric and construction av handled for wool trousers but and they're just a tiny bit too big. I've ordered about 5 things I've had on my kop list the last month and nothing has worked out. Starting to lose faith...

Just booked a trip for London-> Berlin in april.

Anything that needs to get done?

Just because you can find something "similar" for whatever thats worth, doesn't mean its anywhere near the same thing. I can't afford CCP and nor do I like it, but you pay for a pretty unique garment that you don't get from crappy alternatives that borrow from his designs. If you want a certain look, settling for lesser versions of it seems like a waste.. Many fetishize over his stuff at times, but I feel some should actually handle his stuff before talking about it.

Anyway to apply my eBate account to an order after it has processed? Forgot about it and have to remember to get into a habit of logging into eBate first. Lost $10 lunch money frown.gif

Anyone ever sold something to someone in Russia? I've heard of people experiencing problems, getting scammed, etc.
