That's a recent change, in part because the marketplace there was an unregulated mess.

Terrible feeling when every shoe you want to buy in tokyo has no stock in your size

You know what's really annoying? Closing a deal with someone for an item on the Classifieds and them telling you they sold it to someone else after you PayPal them the agreed amount a day later (over a weekend too!).

finally nailed down an internship for this summer. this will be the first time ever I've had a job paying more than minimum wage and the first time I've had disposable income in like...ever icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

planning on copping a toj (bomber? mdr? too many good choices), some cool boots (sup shah i see you selling f+bs in my size...), and another eg blazer (crossing my fingers they have a grey wool andover next fw).

I feel your pain, but as someone who's sold plenty on the classifieds before, I'll have to side with the seller on this one. Buyers flaking is a fact of life on BS, so if two buyers express interest at the same time, my preference always goes to the one who sends money over the one who promises money, even if the money-promiser expressed interest first. Should have been quicker at the draw dude.

I wish I could get my hats to work.

Disagree. Once you come to an agreement and you send your paypal info they should be given a reasonable amount of time to pay and at least a warning message before you move on to another buyer.

Maybe on ebay, but on styleforum an agreement is no more serious or binding than an initial statement of interest
