It does show a zip code though.

But I am sure it matters either way, maybe they can get more specific info from USPS than the website shows. Otherwise you could just ship a coke bottle to yourself as proof of delivery every time you sold something

I'm so damn sick of seeing this listing. I've reported it several times, but ebay doesn't seem to care at all.

Pretty sure thats a guy from SuFu too haha

No, he's following the rules. It's a new shipping method from ebay. The box arrives accompanied by a caravan of elephants. The extra security is well worth the $575.

thanks for the input everyone. i decided to go ahead and cancel. it was a normal paypal transaction and we'd agreed on ems. but i confirmed that if i don't send to the same address linked to his paypal account, i have no recourse in a dispute. like mikey i've asked people to change my address since i've had/have a few i stay at. but i've only done that on places like here and ebay where i have an established reputation that people can look at. it wasn't the most expensive piece i'm selling, but he had 0 posts and 0 trader feedback - not worth risking $280. i offered to let him redo the transaction with the proper address or do a gift payment. if he's legit i don't see any reason why he can't do that.

Anybody not getting PMs? Have people complaining that I don't reply to their PMs for items I'm selling but I haven't gotten any PMs from these users which is weird

I get things shipped to my work address all the time, because no one is at home from 7-5. FWIW, I think Americans are overly paranoid about people from other countries.

Just ask the duder and see what he says.

Naturally right as I'm running out the door for the weekend the sweater I ordered months ago (woolovers) shows up. Just barely got a chance to try it on and the fit is better than I expected. Shoulders are dropped but that seems to be intentional. Wool seems soft. Not terribly thick, which is actually a plus for me because it'll be easier to layer, but for the price I'm pleased.

+1

getting ready to list my Krane Cyrial "jacket," which retailed for about a grand, but am gonna price it at a little over a third of that, just because I'd like to sell it and not have it just sit... and sit... and sit. Oh well; it can be fun when you're on the buying side of the B&S dance.

Does anyone have issues with Boston USPS (specifically one on mass ave near symph) -- I've lost one international items shipping with them and another ??? ( which has never happened before) and now a shirt I shipped ended up in Honolulu when it should be in Cali yesterday - receipt says CA...

Dropped shoulder is intentional, should be fine as long as chest and sleeves are good. I'm surprised you don't think it's thick - mine is crazy fat.

I guess I should ship it back? Or what? I'm probably still going to get hit with customs and have to pay for shipping.

If everything in KJ's second statement (especially the bolded part) is true, then no, he should not have return the money or the item. Both parties entered into an agreement brokered by eBay and agreed to the eBay's terms of service. The seller chose not to adhere to those terms and got burned. Frankly, after waiting for a month I don't see why the seller even bothered to ship the item. At that point the seller should have either kept the item and either refunded the money or dealt with the inevitable Paypal dispute.

KJ, should keep the item and the money.
