so nobody works as or knows anything about being a buyer or a planner at a (especially clothing related) retail corporation?

I am thinking of making a trip north to hang out with an old buddy, have lunch and some scotch with parker and what else I don't know in the next 2-3 months.

Stuff sent regular post like usps or royal mail seems to get through tho. But yeah. They really don't like money leaving their country. So now I just have a mountain of stuff waiting at home.

ordered something from oki-ni and it's coming quickly by DHL.  never had DHL deliver anything and the tracking is hella weird.  looks real suspect =/

I had a friend who interned as a buyer for Bloomingdale's. He hated it, said it was a lot of the same spread sheet crunching and boredom as finance and couldn't wait for the 2 months or whatever it was to be over. fwiw, but i had no interest after hearing from him.
