You pay a deposit (20- 80cents) on all beer/soda etc. bottles/cans here, which you get back when you return it to the shop for them to recycle.
Regarding the shopping bags, the point was to get people to reuse them or buy reuse able nets.
All high end shops include the price of the bag in the price or eat it them self, which is the same thing in the end.
