kj- i think they just cut the zipper and attach a new end-piece but i'm not really sure.

I think they would do it at the shoulder, but I'm no expert. I think that's a relatively common procedure, although obviously more expensive than a normal cuff job.

Great, thanks Regis. Figured it was cotton but it's better to check since I knew you had it and odds are someone else does too.

No problem. From my experience Neiman and Bergdorf often make a lot of mistakes like that

I do not own any Lanvin clothing, I like a lot of the styling though. I posted the quote because I think that buying clothes for emotional reasons is at the end of the day, the right thing to do. At least for me. I also thought it was funny and I liked his candor/frankness. a lot of designers, at least in interviews i've read, tend to mince words or just be kind of incoherent and not very direct.

Baller solution: buy new pants.
Normal solution: Loose/gain weight.

Today's my 22nd birthday. I don't have class today, and my pair of hightop Lanvins finally showed up, so it's shaping up to be a good day of drinking cocktails, eating steak, looking good and smoking cigars.

Happy bday!

Shortening zippers can definitely be done. I remember asking about this when I wanted to make my dual clutch. Like art said, they cut and re-attach the stopper at the bottom.

I saw a small amount of The Soloist at Barneys in NYC a few weeks back. Not sure if they have SS13 in yet, but keep an eye out there.

"Bottom left hand side is curved and bag features a relaxed, oversized silhouette."
