I'm excited to finally see Iceage this summer, they are playing in KC at a "festival" (lol), same "festival" I saw Fucked Up at last year incidentally. Like the new JT, think I like Suit & Tie more of the two though

^^Yeah, that's the one. It was fun last year, wish I would have gone to more shows and made a day of it, but friends bailed, and FU was the main draw for me. Only ones that stood out this year for me were Grizzly Bear and Iceage.

It looks so easy on shows like Project Runway when the recent design school grads throw together stuff like this on the fly (or when someone like cola bear whips something up in the DIY thread), I wonder if (A) you could just pay som design student to make one for you for thousands less, or (B) have a solid MTM company make you a knock-off, also for thousands less.

How much should I expect to pay to have sleeves shortened on a blazer with zippers rather than buttons at the cuffs?

Of course Elbaz wants people to buy clothes based on emotion; no one in their right mind would consider the horribly-made garbage that constitutes 95% of Lanvin's offerings an "investment".

Most of Coppens' AW12 were somewhat reasonably priced (minus a few outlandish things on LNCC $7.7k leather vest wtf?) but this season the prices seem to have skyrocketed. Not a single jacket is under $3k except one that's $900, maybe they forgot to add the 3 in front of that.

I don't know if it's Coppens or just LNCC that has these ridiculous prices. Waiting for Barneys to get their shipment in.
