Being the huge Geller fan that I am, am I the only one that thinks most of the stuff from his earlier collections is relatively tacky and amateur looking?
The souvenir jacket, the himilaya, the bomber being discussed above, anything with that gross flat fur, the moleskin, denim coats, any of the waxed outerwear and a bunch of other stuff just grosses me out.
Then there is stuff I like but would almost always prefer the current season iteration. The Cossack bomber was great but I'd probably prefer my FW11 Stefan.
Obviously there are some exceptions that are just awesome and irreplaceable like leathers from ss09 and fw10, the circle tees, certain wool coats, ss10 summer bomber and fw10 laced cuff coat and fair isle, and some knits but for the most part I think...
SS11 is when Geller started to get good and interesting and wearable.
