I looked at them in person. These are great scarves, The red one was my favorite. I remember that it was stretchy with an open weave. It had some interesting variation in the color too. I would be happy with any of them though. The scarves are huge, which is good.

The sold out blanket is awesome. I should have gotten that.

Is there a reason that CM is so much more receptive to stuff like the coverage from Pitti? I've been thinking of shutting that part down completely in subsequent visits, except maybe for a couple of photoshoots with already established brands like S.N.S. Herning.

isn't a lot of that stuff menswear

I don't know, in my mind Pitti is definitely more CM but I know we probably don't agree on this (see SW&D banner).

Not even talking about the various labels showcased there, it's more the overall vibe and the peacocking etc.

I wouldn't consider SNS Herning, or Barena, or Monitaly, or Yuketen, or Nigel Cabourn, or wierd Japanese shoes to be CM.

Me neither, see edit above. smile.gif

I'm just saying that when I think ot Pitti I think of gloves stuffed into breast pockets, that tiny concrete wall and yeah... #menswear stuff. So it kinda makes sense to me that it gets more attention on the CM side. But I know there are more sw&d oriented brands in the lot too and I enjoyed reading about them.

i dunno, when i look at the front page, it just looks like CM stuff.  I did click on the SNS herning one though.  I'm sure if you had stuff on there about more popular SW&D brands, then you'll see more interest.  Maybe a tour of the TOJ factory lol8[1].gif

It's still interesting to me - but then I wear business casual to work. For people who are all Rick all the time types, they probably don't care at all.

barena definitely seems more CM to me. sns kinda falls under both. nigel cabourn, monitaly, yuketen may techincally be more SW&D but they're not brands that are really discussed much in here.
