It's not as bad as you'd think... its a relief some times. I no longer get asked prices/brands, just a 'I really like X thing', 'X label/style?'
I knew I'd totally desensitized everyone to my clothing expenditures when I had dinner with my grandmother and she asked how much my sweater cost. I said four, and she asked "Four hundred, or four thousand?"
I would imagine you could contact Zam directly through SZ. Of course then you have to register for an SZ account, which I believe requires some sort of blood sacrifice and an oath to Lord Voldemort. Or you could probably ask shah for Zam's email since I suspect he has it.
I actually like SZ for reading about stuff since there are plenty of smart, knowledgeable people on there. But the niche is way too narrow and serious to actually get involved.
didn't realize Zam would go to Paris for sales. is he stocked in a lot of places? i assumed he just sold on SZ. regardless of whether I like his designs, it's always cool to see an independent designer get a business off the ground. definitely not an easy thing to do.
