In Canada we did dd-mm-yy, so i still do it that way for personal records - makes sense to me

my search for fingerless gloves/arm warmer led me to etsy. i need to remember to look for shit on there more often. lots of inexpensive options. bought these arm warmers. i asked if she would make a pair in charcoal and to fit men's hands and she said she would. she also said that if she did charcoal it wouldn't be baby alpaca but a different yarn. i told her to surprise me with either that or a black pair in baby alpaca since i would obviously prefer that fabric. if i remember to i will post my thoughts and perhaps pictures when i get them.

Someone hit me with some decent rug recommendations. Nothing "baller," because, c'mon, it's a god damn rug, but any "mid-tier" brands to check out?

Just go to like 3 or 4 TJ MAXX or Marshalls or the equivalent and poke around.  you're bound to find something and it won't be amazing but you can probably find one that won't be absolute shit either, depending on the buyers in your area.

Go this route for now I'd say and you can get something decent for 2-500, depending on size, whereas you'll most likely have to add an extra 0 for a "good" rug.  Alternative is regular antique shops instead of rug specialists but even those can get pricey depending on where you are.

More than worldwide metric there needs to be internet-wide standard for measuring clothes.

E-mail Tat @ SS boutique => ask for fabric scraps => make baller patchwork rug.

Alternatively, buy all the crappy Missoni scarves on Gilt and do the same thing.

mm-dd makes more sense for sorting if all things are the same year, or alternatively yyyy-mm-dd. You wouldn't say 4 tenths and 3 ones and 1 ten fot 13.4. Even the pyramid analogy you keep using illustrates that.
