Hmm the fashion show I'm producing tonight has a few male designers (albeit for womenswear) and none of their suits show any short cuff. Very surprised.

Edit - its a corset fashion show, I'll post the video next week.

Seattlites rejoice, Blackbird finally has some competition

I really like jack straw, honestly. Not all their stuff is what I like, but the shop's great.

The shop is awesome and the owner is incredible, no question. If what they carried was to my taste would absolutely be shopping there regularly.

I feel like this is a noob question but what's appropriate to wear for a skype interview? never done one of these before.

I assume they'll have their own product images soon. Totokaelo has a big presence in womenswear and is in a cool retail spot, so them getting into menswear will be nice - I hope they don't fall back on just Rick Owens/MMM/etc though. Jack Straw should have another good season for SS13 with Ann D being added back, and they will supposedly carry more small sizes. It's the only place in town I like these days.

Blackbird is not up on the level of either.

Nice. I've yet to stop by but I like their womenswear selection. Sounds promising if they're going that direction.

Haven't bought anything from blackbird for over a year now. Their lackluster buys and jacked up prices have me looking elsewhere, considering there are countless shops out there that are superior (and no sales tax!).

Whatever happens on top I'm going pants-less. Will wear shoes though.
