Are they canvas or leather?

RFT 1:

Anyone recently receive a package from TheCorner? Besting MrPorter in terms of package delivery / presentation.

It feels so much better unwrapping an all black, slim shopping bag tied up with a matching black bow with "TheCorner" rubberized stamped in unison.

RFT 2:

Peir Wu is real cool, taking the time off during her Paris/London tour to answer emails. Need to see / buy to give her proper feedback. Also shout out to Joseph from Suspension Point for stocking her collection.

I hate extravagant packaging. So wasteful, all 50 of those sheets of tissue paper are unnecessary

totally agree re packaging. ridiculous the resources they put into cologne/scotch/clothing/etc boxes that just get trashed/recycled right away. it's gross

Don't tell all the guys around this forum that we all love and are so great for so many reasons, but the Corner is my favorite e-shop. I've placed so many orders (and returns) with them it's ridiculous. And yes, the black packaging is seductive. Of course, nothing beats LNCC though.

The Corner has the most WVB I've found, so it's automatically one of my favourites.

TheCorner keeps it simple enough. 1 plastic packaging for the item (knit in my case), plastic packaging wrapped in 1 layer of tissue paper, which is all put into 1 black paper bag accessorized with a black bow and papers put into a 6 x 8 black envelope. This is all inside a recycled brown UPS package.

MrPorter goes over the top with tissue paper.

Simplest is probably Yoox. 1 sheet of tissue paper.

LN-CC is similar to MrPorter--their packaging makes me think of high-end asshole.

My favorite so far is Matches, gotta like that colorful magnetized box thing

+1 on the Matches Packaging. Corner and Forward are quite nice as well

Forward just sent my shirt in a thing of tissue paper inside a box. I guess a $60 t shirt isn't deserving of the wasteful packaging.

Porter uses no more tissue paper than dry cleaners.

LN-CC's oversized presentation boxes are a bigger waste, IMO.

I like LNCC's boxes, I can use them for other things. Unlike Mr Porter which just wraps whatever items in 10 layers of tissue paper that I have no use for.

You don't use those boxes?? I guess if I placed a ton of orders there I'd have to start giving them away but they are pretty sweet boxes. Matches too. Forgot about them.

LNCC boxes are rad, I re-use them for a variety of things
