I just had a package I had sent sit in German customs for two weeks while USPS said it was still in LA, their system is just a little slow I think. Wouldn't worry over it too much

I'm looking for something similar (possibly more on the slimmer side). I was looking at Epaulet but they look like they're pleated - I'm not looking for pleated. I also don't think they'll be slim enough for my build. Any suggestions other than Epaulet?
I like this pair of Raf trousers from this season but they're sold out in my size and a little more than I was looking to spend.

They are flat front and offer a 14 day return policy for SF members, why not try it out? And just how slim are you looking for?

Who is making a nice pair of tapered/narrow/skinny wool tweed trousers these days? Something with a respectable grown man rise and doesn't have the Burberry Prorsum price tag.

If it doesn't have to be tweed, these wool ones by Lemaire look good.

Looks to be a slim to regular top block with nice taper. They've got pleats though, but I like that. The press in the leg comes out with enough wear (at least on the wool pants I've got).

Serious?

Again, lemaire makes a nice pair in a slim/skinny cut in tweed.

These seem to fit the bill, somebody posted them in Recent Purchases a few days ago and they look amazing. S and L are left, only problem is they're final sale.

thanks. they don't tend to fall within my style but these pants look nice. the only things i don't like are that they're pressed (can easily be steamed so not really an issue) and i dislike the waist bands closures that protrude like that. the latter isn't really that big of a deal since it shouldn't be visible but for some reason would still bother me.

these tweed ones look best imo:

especially this:

anyway, i would buy but they don't have any of them in my size (32) (i can add salt & pepper to my cart but not select a size so i assume it's out of stock). how often do they restock? any other similar options?

Bleh, I'm out $320 because the postman misdelivered my Ute Ploier cardigan. I even asked him personally if he remembered delivering something to my house (after half an hour of waiting around since he ignored me the first time) and all I got was a curt "I don't remember. If it says delivered, then I must have delivered it." Which is bullshit, considering this has happened before, though the packages showed up 2-3 days later after I visit the post office and speak to the supervisor there. Been over a week with multiple phone calls and visits to the post office.

Would prefer the cardigan over the money but being out both really sucks.

Assuming it was sent via standard mail, It's probably sitting in a pile waiting to go through customs. EMS, priority mail, express mail, etc have priority sorting and all the regular stuff is last.

Or it could be like this Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

why would it be marked as delivered?

That feel when you know you need a haircut, but both your usual and your backup stylist are on vacation. This is how unforeseen buzz cuts are born.
