I see so many terrible scarves on chicks (including burberry ones which I can't believe sell bc they're so ugly) around here it's ridiculous.

Question: those of you (probably quite a lot) that like tabi-boots on girls, did you like them at first sight, or did you come to like them?

Most likely it's the same as when I browse "the young and hungry" in class and some classmate sees it and thinks it looks ridiculous (like that kurta+blazer+preacher hat some week ago), while I think it looks completely amazing.

Still though, I think it will really take something special or just a long time before I feel that way about tabi-boots laugh.gif

The DvN and MMM trompe l'oeil are apparently quite comfortable. I haven't tried them on myself (shog[1].gif) but some girls I know were quite positive about them, as for the tabi well it varies a lot, especially with the heels, they're mostly worn to events. Ann are also generally seen as comfortable.

Definitely an acquired taste just like a lot of things. Your exposure to such looks definitely shapes the way you see them. My ex was very into fashion and always hated the tabis. I had a friend who wore them every day, every boot and shoe she owned was some form of martins tabi. To each their own just like all fashion.

Synth- She is great! I skied with her again today, and damn if I had a hard time keeping up with her! I did the fastest skiing I've ever done today. She just told me that her parents sent her the pair of cowboy boots she used to ride in as a teenager, so it's possible the jeans are still around somewhere smile.gif
