Some idiot dropped a full-size steel wheel complete with a tire mounted to it onto the #2 lane of the 101 south last night, in the perfect location for me to not see it as I changed lanes to pass a slow-moving other idiot in the #1 lane. Hit it head on, got caught under my car, put a huge hole in my oil pan and I dumped all my oil. Was able to pull over and [hopefully] shut the engine off in time.

Couple interesting things happened then.

First, I got tow-poached and picked up by a rogue tow driver who was NOT sent by my insurance but was probably listening to the scanners and figured out my location, then got to me first. He was halfway to taking me to a shop that would have given him a kickback for his work when I got a call from the original tow company saying they were looking for me. When I said I was already in the truck on my way she goes "that's not my driver." So that was fun. I told the guy to show me an invoice or a card or anything else and he could only give me a card for the shop he was trying to take me to, so I told him to pull over and drop my car. That actually worked pretty well, since these guys don't want to get caught poaching jobs, apparently.

Second, and here's the random fashion thought, the other driver shows up and almost immediately looks at me and says "you not from LA, where you from?" I again get this from another guy who gives me a lift home from the tow yard. I've been in LA the past 8 years but I think wearing a Stark over an OCBD, RRL chinos, and MMM side-zips must make anyone look like they are not from LA. I guess I should have known that, but I don't ordinarily get called out for it, right off the bat, too,

Yeah same thing happened when my 8 series got hit, guy tried to mount my car up without even asking me, took like 15 minutes to tell them my insurance would send their own tow. Looked guy up on yelp and saw some interesting things as well, definitely happen I was calm after the accident. There are poachers everywhere though really sad to see. Luckily I already had a body shop guy and mechanics that I trust so I didn't have to worry about that

Yeah Z is right. There are also specialty products designed to remove the smell of cat urine. Check out a pet store or something. Cat pee is no ordinary smell and can't really be 'aired' out or covered up.

For a $100-200ish budget, who make the slimmest single breast long top coat similar to this?

You fools. You fawn over this man. This... thing. You call it tween. You welcome it as your friend, your brother. You give it your thumbs. But you do not look into its eyes. You do not see the blackness in them, the sharklike hunger. I see it. I know the truth. This is no man, though it may wear a man's skin and speak with a man's voice. It cares not for coppens jackets or visvim ftbs. They are mere disguises, pretenses. What lurks behind that distant stare, those cold eyes... I have seen it. I have heard its voice in my dreams, whispering in ancient and profane tongues. It laughs. It has told me its plans. Plans for me. Plans for you. Plans for all of us, small and stupid as we may be.

tween is dead. 4est has come.

save yourselves

Anyone know a good place to get knit finglerless gloves and/or arm warmers? preferably something cheap but not super shitty quality (doesn't need to be all that great though).

How many of you guys have tattoos or other body art/piercings etc?

Do you consider that part of how you express your sense of fashion, does it interact with it at all?
