Ervell cardigan to work today and the elbow / forearm is smoothing out on the knit frown.gif

I was afraid of this. Is this unavoidable or just poor knit quality (re: jet)

I already thought that I probably would need suede elbow patches or something. Everywhere else is pebbly.

If in between sizes for fitted caps, go up or down? Easier to stretch or shrink?

unavoidable, especially with softer knits... your elbows rubbing against your desk, etc will smooth it out but it's not going to wear through or anything.

SEH Kelly
Inish Meain
Inverallan (although I am not sure if I actually need more knits from either)
Handknitting Association of Iceland
Brooklyn Tailors (For shirts, if I can get the fit right. Thanks, teger.) Made in Nepal, reports of shoddy construction frown.gif
Mister Freedom (although I already own a ton by them)
Artist Denim
ROY Denim (If prices don't keep rising)
ARN Mercantile (if they are still producing)
MOTO
Aero, Himel Bros., TOJ (if I ever actually buy a leather jacket)
Hmm, who else?

Would be very interested in a separate thread.

Currently trying to find some Inish Meain stuff that's in their collection, but NOT in their webstore and having no lck at all.

These are the ones. Definitely size down one full size if you pull the trigger.

have been using sutocorp, they're reliable though sometimes you gotta give them a little push if you want things to move quickly

I will, if I can think of a title for it. [SOON, A TITLE HERE] is already taken, too.

My personal favorite so far is FromJapan. It's basically an automated bidding and order consolidation site. If you're bidding on auctions this would be my recommendation.

If you need a quick turnaround or it's a 'buy it now' type item you should probably go with sutocorp or stylistics space. Not sure about the folks at sutocorp, but Stephen at stylistics space speaks perfect english which can make things go a lot smoother. I think his proxy fee is on the high side though.

My experience with SharpService has either been great or abysmal. Too inconsistent to recommend.
