Yeah Saturday's stuff fits slim, though I've had the opposite experience as far as the length. The size small hoodie I bought and returned last winter was ridiculously long... I mean I'm know I'm not tall by any means but I would've had to have been like 6ft2 for it to not have been too long on me.

Funny you should say that, meis. I am 6'2" and my small hoody is barely not too long.

i dismissed them for years because i didn't want anything to do with a company that made all that "tiger fleece" shit or whatever, but I'm completely in love with my wool mac.  to that point that I'm seriously contemplating buying the same exact coat but in cotton with a wool liner.

zissou you're such an effing hipster

Yeah, W+H seems to have emerged from a bit of a design nadir and are putting out some really well-designed stuff the past couple seasons, this FW especially.

W+H only really have a few standout pieces every season, the rest is pretty iffy. Stuff I've had has been really nice though...I wear my W+H x dayton a lot

lol8[1].gif Didn't you see that I crossed out Brooklyn Tailors? Seriously, though, I just appreciate people taking the time to learn how to make shit well. Considering I've built a small 'business' from scratch, I appreciate similar efforts of other people.

It's even worse then we thought: zissou's a discerning hipster! tounge.gif

W&Hs might have some appealing looking pieces, but the fit on them is so shitty. another brand with ultra narrow shoulders ahoy!

I'm probably going to be in NYC between February 14th and 18th. I was thinking of hitting up:

Atelier
If
Hotoveli
Barney's
Dior Homme
Aloha Rag
YSL/Saint Laurent Paris/whatever

Am I missing anything really obvious that I should definitely go to? When does the spring/summer stuff usually start hitting stores?

Also, recommendations for interesting things going on at that time, somewhere to stay near downtown Manhattan, as well as where to get good burgers and/or other food also welcome.

Some of us have ultra narrow shoulders though. Different yokes for different folks

Opening Ceremony and the Rick Owens store come to mind, although OC is pretty shitty to browse IME. Rick store is really cool and just a block away from Atelier.

I want to learn to make pants/ trousers because most of the nice pairs that I find are either really boring or doesn't feel substantial/ have a good fit/ pricing is insane...
