My jeans are currently sitting in a sink filled with water and bleach. How much do I need to stir that shit?
Need help:

- Women's winter coat
- Knee length
- Wool or wool blend or whatever (not quilted, down, puffer, &c.)
- Buttons go up pretty high toward the neck and down pretty far toward the knee, such that it stays closed while walking
- IDGAF how much it costs, although I'd be pretty skeptical if it was < $150

TIA. Frustrating that I know nothing about women's clothing or stores, and that I live in one of the largest cities in the US yet have so very few options for brick-mortar shopping.

Often, or they will look like some sort of late 80s acid wash.

Think the SVB washing machine method works better for what you want.

Too late—I pushed 'em around a little bit, but mostly let them sit. I'd already put them through the machine twice with about a cup of bleach each time and they didn't fade too much. I read that someone else (maybe it was you?) had used about 1.5L to get significant fading, so I just filled up the sink with water and added 3 cups in. Gave 'em a decent rinse after leaving them in there for ~50 minutes. Hopefully they won't be terribly fucked up. confused.gif

I've done several methods, 1 time left a pair of acne's in a tub for 2 days only stirred 2 or 3 times, got acid wash effect.

Next time I poured about 1L of bleach into my H/E machine and they became lighter, but not that light.

Other time I used a paint brush to enhance the fades on an old pair of samurais, these turned out the best.  Soaked them first, and then dried them a bit till they were humid, them applied several coats of bleach to where the fades had naturally developed, then washed them.

What ever you do wash them seperately 5-6 times or you could ruin other clothes

Without more information about her style or body type, it's hard to give really concrete suggestions, but my wife is a big fan of Marni and Miu Miu, and both of those are good fits for a variety of body types, and usually use a fair bit of tweed and/or melton in their FW collections. My wife's current coat of choice is a Marni coat with a lot of interesting pleating. Good choice for a more feminine, slightly gamine, look. Miu Miu, the same.

5'4" and probably no hood, but I think that's negotiable.

My wife wears a variation of this:

Deceptively simple. The pleat work is really good and flattering, and I think that it fulfills most of your criteria. Plus, the color is a terrific midnight.

Just came back from yorkdale and bought some side zips for 44 dollars. Last pair at that location too. 41-that's my margiela size /ASAP rocky
Club Monaco is really expensive; 1800 for an overcoat made in the USA. Anyone know who makes it?
Some nice knits there too but you can get Schneider for the same or less.
