Closer to agreement. I'm very much down with instrumental music. I just think lyrical music needs to have worthy lyrics to be, well, worthy.
For instance, back in the 90s/00s most of the music by 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and whatever those other names were was reasonably well-produced because it was under the aegis of Dre and co -- but that didn't make the songs half decent, they were awful.
RFT: did everyone already know Viktor & Rolf is owned by Diesel's Renzo Rosso (am I the only one who always thinks of Porco Rosso?)? And he's about to buy Marni? Poeple always talk about Margiela being under his control on here but that's the only one that seems to come up much.
