surprisingly not a fan of asap's new album. best tracks on the album were already released anyway. and kendricks verse on 1 train kills all of rockys verses.

but i find myself listening to a lot less rap in general these days. lots of of montreal, mates of state, beach house, etc.

oh, and for teger

Thinking this will be the most interesting Spring/Summer season fashion-wise in a long time.

Yeah, that band fucking sucks. wink.gif

I haven't heard the A$AP album but he does have a good ear for beats so I doubt it could be that bad. Not surprised to hear that the best songs have been released already and the rest of it is so-so.
What's up with rappers letting other people outdo them on their own tracks? Is that a lost rule in hip-hop? It happens all the time now. Jay-Z has been consistantly outperformed on his own tracks for years now.
P.S. wasn't he supposed to retire after the black album? I just remembered that..

I think this means I have to quit the forum.

Na I have a DBSS graphic tee I like to pull out occasionally. People hate graphic tees because 95% are tacky and poorly done. But there are definitely some cool ones out there ( ie David Lindwall).

It's half satire. I'm not really into the whole wink-and-nod thing, (except at the very end, I guess), and generally, it doesn't work. Part of what I love about someone like Stephen Colbert is that although it's obviously a joke, you can tell that Steven Colbert loves the Steven Colbert character. I actually read Monocle and enjoy it. I want to read about Scandanivian restaurants where all the ingredients are foraged. I sorta want to live in a world where beautiful Asian couples take weekend trips to Hokkaido on oddly uncrowded trains, wearing Hermes coats and carrying Globetrotter luggage. Sometimes, you just gotta embrace it and understand the silliness of the whole thing at the same time.

Earnestness is the enemy of humor. I guess that that would be my main criticism of Stylezeitgeist. I'm pretty sure that a lot of the readers don't really understand what it is to laugh at themselves.

Sorry, we are oversubscribed.

However, I am holding a clothing drive for the Human Fund. PM me for details on where to send said clothes.

It's easy to dismiss something like Rugby but these are good enough and definitely cheap enough:

I think you can get an extra 25% off with student ID or something like that too, if you or someone you know has one.

Reminds me of Blue Scholars.
