Did anyone else have the intense desire to do this as a kid? I remember building like 2 huge snow forts when I was about ten then having prolonged snowball fights with my friends, some of my fondest childhood memories. Also, insane sledding on this long, steep-ass hill by my house, so much fun

Snow? Try rain. People in the PNW make Floridian drivers seem like Michael Schumancer in comparison. For the first three months I was here I was convinced the max speed limit was 40MPH.

Believe it or not I lived in Louisville, Kentucky for 5 years starting when I was six and my fondest memories involve just that. Nothing beats a white Christmas. I used to jump off my roof and belly flop into the fresh snow, good times. Of course I have great memories because I was kid, my parents hated it and never want to see another flake.

I think it gets a little colder here (though we had a really mild winter last year) or at least worse wind-chills, but Chicago usually doesn't get the sort of storms you guys get in the NE.


All this warm winter weather makes me think about selling my fishtail... kind of a waste to have it sitting around if I'm going to get less than 10 wears/yr out of it.

I miss Kentucky man, they sure made a kid coming from Cuba who couldn't speak a word of english feel at home, probably the nicest people as a whole i've had the pleasure of knowing . Southern hospitality at its best. I haven't seen snow since I was 11, would like to throw around some snowballs in the near future

Most winters at my previous house, we could accumulate enough snow from shoveling the driveway that we could build a snow cave. The local ski mountain opens in three days and it's been dumping snow for two days icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Finally bought a black 5-zip (from TBS). Anyone have any recommendations out of the ordinary on how to wear it? I expect light wash denim, white tee, and sneakers or boots to be the main look for the jacket, but want to be a little more versatile with it and would love suggestions on something I wouldn't necessarily think about doing with it.
