100% get tracking unless they paid as gift (and even if they did pay as gift you better let them know if it's being shipped untracked and tell them you aren't responsible and make sure they agree). If not, well they could steal your shoes very easily.

i'll get tracking for sure even though I heard it's expensive in Canada.

Xpresspost I think? That's the cheapest one with tracking. Will probably be 25-30 CAD.

I hate that with USPS you're pretty much forced to go with Express for tracking internationally.

I think sneakers would fall outside the weight range, right? If not I'll have to check out that option next time.

Priority works very well to Canada

4lb limit for first class mail. Registered service is an additional $12. You bring the item in box, but not taped shut. Then they give you the brown paper tape, you wet it and seal the box, and stamp around the seals. I think it's a bit slower than normal first class because it gets transferred between carriers in lock boxes, but it's the cheapest method with tracking by far.

Yeah, but it doesn't allow for tracking. Or so they say at the post office. The USPS site says different, but I'm not going to try and make sense of it. Canada Post's site is so much easier to understand with their check boxes.

Interesting, I'll have to try this then. Thanks.

You use the customs form number.

Not always tracked in the destination country. Maybe Canada always does, but not all do. EMS and first class registered are the only ways to guarantee your package is tracked to the buyer.

Canada always does. You use the customs form number on the canadian post site. I believe it works for Australia too.

Going to Vancouver this weekend. Are there any stores there worth looking at? Also food advice.

Was supposed to go to some chick's birthday party at some spot in hollywood tonight then I got the text no sneakers as I was getting ready to bounce. Then I stared at my closet for 20 minutes, not a damn thing to wear so texted back not going.

chinorlz brand is a joke. I remember when he spent like 15 posts extolling the virtues of this magical leather he discovered called 'shell cordovan' as produced by a mysterious maker known as 'horween'. and then proceeded to sell shell card cases for like $350 each.

You making them yourself? Fabric sounds great. Not crazy about that giant a leg opening tho...

Whatever works. Used cautiously, the drier is handy fit-adjustment tool.
