Wasn't my intention to accuse or insult anyone, just genuinely curious about what these people's daily lives are to afford them to wear these kinds of things, not monetarily but situationally. I definitely can appreciate higher-end items, no doubt about that, I'm just wondering about the drivers behind some of the sartorial choices and plaudits and criticisms that SF tends to give out.
Dude, I work in a hospital where people are vomiting, defecating, and bleeding all over the place every day. I wear my expensive stuff there - if something gets mussed or messed, I just take it to the cleaner. You can't be afraid, otherwise you'll never have a life to live.
I'm the same as Urthwhyte. I also don't follow washing instructions. I throw everything in the washer/dryer no matter fabric, color etc. I don't really understand though what sort of restrictions you would encounter by wearing luxe clothing?
I'm all for not letting clothes restrict what you do, but not following care instructions seems pretty dumb. I mean, I put most hand wash stuff in the washing machine on delicate, but putting most nice stuff in the dryer is a bad idea. It can really destroy clothes. I'd rather have a hole or rip in a garment than have the whole fabric ruined.
This little shit that lives on my block was arguing with his girlfriend in the middle of the street, wearing a whole RO get up, from his meshy top to his skirt hem. You can't argue with, or even have a girlfriend if you dress that way. You also can't drive a new black mustang.
