And this brings me to a general gripe, which is that so many shops use UPS instead of USPS. They could have stuffed it into a $15 flat rate Priority box, which would have arrived in two days. Instead, UPS charges $40 for the same service.
I agree, though I know that UPS has a WAY better tracking and, should it be necessary, claim system if/when things go missing. For higher value packages, that's a big deal for shops.
Agreed ups ground takes forever and its expensive. USPS will also leave a note if no one is home if you ask them, I receive so many packages so they kinda know me and do it automatically though.
lol usps in my neighborhood is absolutely awful about leaving the notices. Half the time they don't leave it at all, and when they do they don't put it in my mailbox until a week or so after I've already picked up the package from the post office.
Jet how come you are looking into cheaper brands like Uniqlo? Sometimes I get an urge to buy a higher priced items like I use to, but I think a person can do pretty good with buying uniqlo and spend the savings on nice shoes and outerwear (although even most my outerwear is now Uniqlo, pretty much Uniqlo + APC + Aldens uniform for me).
