If you check out in USD then VAT is deducted automatically but they ship DDP so customs is included.

VAT will be subtracted unless it's a sale item. They used to mark down their packages, but recently, it seems they aren't doing that anymore so your chances of being hit by fees just shot up.

Mr. Hare's new webshop is amazing, if only because of how detailed and honest it is.

Lots of designers take the Yoox approach with their shops-- here's a picture of the shoe. It's made of leather. It has laces. $600. Want?

But Mr. Hare goes like 6 steps further. There's a description of the shoes' design. Then a reason why it's designed that way. He's even willing to tell us when a shoe is cemented. Seriously, the level of detail in the descriptions is so good. I shed a tear.

I walked all the way to the post office to find that it was closed today in celebration of Veteran's Day yesterday... America is so inefficient. -_-; No wonder the country's hemorrhaging money... Seriously, I get that we should honor the veterans of war, but America has too many holidays.
