Ha I saw casual racism all over Europe when I traveled, especially in Belgium/Netherlands. It reminded me how politically correct us Americans are about some things

Let's say I were to purchase something like this. This particular jacket has a zipper. Do you think I could have the loops and toggles removed without ruining the look? How about the pieces of fabric on the wrists?

Americans are definitly very sensitive regarding racism against blacks. Which sometimes crosses the line into positive (reverse) racism, see black history month or leads to absurd situations like the following

These morons probably would nt even consider their black faces as racist and it is a thin line to be honest. Dressing as "blacks" as such may be racist (especially in this context ), but dressing as a black individual (like the kid above) can not really be considered more racist than dressing like a white one.
