Actual rft: does anyone make a decent tank with a fitted arm-opening?

Anyone know what's up with the seemingly never-ending supply of Buzz Rickson jackets coming out of Indonesia and being sold on eBay? Are they all fakes, or are they authentic? Anyone have experience?

to anyone with experience with US customs, how long are packages normally held up?

I've had some breeze right through, but others held up to a week and a half.

I'm looking for a new pair of jeans, preferably straight leg (~9" leg opening for 33W) and made from some interesting denim, but I'm at a loss. I like slubby/tweed denim, but not something with absurd slub like PBJ. I'd pick up some Sugar Cane Okis from Self Edge, but SC are consistently too short for me and I prefer raw over rinsed. I checked Artist Denim on sufu, and it seems they've dropped off the map.

Any suggestions?

No help here, but I dislike tanks with fitted arm openings. They need to be loose and breezy.

zissou, maybe check out Strike Gold 2105 from Selfedge. They are described as "slim straight" but have ~9" leg opening for size 33. I have a pair of the slimmer model. my favorite denim of all my jeans. it's slubby, but not ridiculously so.

Ahh, thanks, Parker! I had forgotten about Strike Gold. The dimensions on 33W look just right, even accounting for shrinkage. They will be a nice contrast to jeans that I already have. Guess I know what Santa will be bringing me....
