Meh, its fun to wear it. I'd hope that everyone else here loves to wear what they wear and thats why they wear it. It is nice to get compliments from people but I have enough mandatory normal dress up days via med school that I get enough of that.

Also I think I have a leather fetish. J. crew is just not going to help me get it done. biggrin.gif

It doesn't seem weird. It is fine.

Someone asked me last night how to pronounce Lanvin (0). I am ready to become a fashon blogger now.

My girlfriend and a few friends appreciate my clothing. That's enough for me, honestly (well, along with myself of course). On the rare occasions I do get to meet up with people who are interested in fashion, it's fun.

It is a bit disheartening but what can be done about it? Luckily it's not bad like other places but all you see is boo, apc, vintage boots, blazers etc just not anything more interesting than that. Doesn't bother me too much though since I'm in it for myself just like cigars. In all honesty I can't stand overtly sz looks to me it ranks up there with rappers wearing head to toe gucci etc. It's just too painfully obvious they're trying to showcase their self-perceived elite fashion status.

This is an evergreen comment that could have been dropped in after the majority of Lane's posts here.

I went though this when I was collecting vintage guitars. I rarely met anyone in real life who was as into it as I was (and still am to some degree). That made it more difficult to educate myself but I got there.

It´d be cool to find someone who appreciated fashion/clothes where I live, but you can´t have the sort of conversations we have here with people who think puma sneakers are the greatest thing ever.

I drove past this couple weeks back, the whole area was just ruins. perfect for apocalyptic fits
and growth creeping into the urban setting, packs of formerly domesticated dogs roaming the streets
people using front yards of abandoned homes on large boulevards as fields for crops
needles strew across floors, signs that junkies had been near by

have a few friends that also enjoy their clothes for more than just cloths covering a body.
and you meet strangers in the strangest places sometimes talking about this, like a fellow's boyfriend who was just loving his richard chai cardigan at a passover dinner some while back
