It's always strange seeing clothes that you thought nobody else knew about, especially on a college campus, being worn in front of you. Guy had MMM gats and a TOJ, was extremely shocked..

I'd be so psyched, have yet to see a single girl/guy wearing anything remotely designer (some girls I'm friends with have a few Acne pieces, but w/e)

Yeah, it was definitely kind of surreal haha. I wanted to tell the people I was with, but I know they wouldn't understand! I'm sure it's less of a big deal in a big city, but when you're in a college town...I wanted to say something but I figured it would be a little too weird..

Finally some nice autumn winter this weekend. Got to wear my leather jacket I bought this summer for the first time out along with some new boots. It's gonna be nice tomorrow too. Unfortunately back in the mid-high 80's the rest of the week. I've got to move to a place with a better climate.

Haha yeah it was usually a sign I need new stuff when I was in college. Had polos / j. crew stuff freshman year which fit in pretty good, but then started moving in a better direction. Once everybody got clarks and stuff I started getting Aldens etc. The best would be seeing the Japanese or Korean students with all their nice undercover and visvim stuff. I was always tempted to try to buy some of it off them but it'd be too small a size

Also if people did ask where I got something, almost always said I thrifted it to avoid discussion

I saw somebody wearing Thom Browne for the first time yesterday, which is pretty crazy for me since I live in the South. Oddly enough I was wearing a TB oxford. I've seen a few guys on campus wearing Common Projects, but that's about it. 

I never see anything Occasionally site some everlane and that's basically it...

Yeah, saw a guy with an Everlane backpack the day I got mine. That was the first time I'd ever noticed and I was all . My roommates from freshman year are about the only people I know with any interest in clothes. But the ratio of running shoes and sweats to anything else is still overwhelmingly tipped the wrong way.

I saw a guy in Rick boots in downtown once, that's about it.

lol guys come to nyc, you will see rick and comme and plenty of other shit daily.
