I would also be very interesting in those canvas boots

CP uses that same or similar shape for most of their boots - officer and geller collab look like that for sure.  I had the geller ones but eventually realized they were a size too big and had to sell.  They're nice boots.

Well here, don't spend $200, save $20 and get this one haha: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052

I just got it a month ago (built my computer) and it's awesome. If you weren't actually talking about a computer monitor, then disregard the above and I feel dumb..

Buy a A- grade 27" panel from Korea. Know a bunch of people at Google who did it and love them

I had looked into that earlier in the year because I wanted a big IPS screen, but didn't buy one. Ebay prices have risen 150-200 since then uhoh.gif

27" seems like overkill for me. Looking at 23-24" screens to upgrade my current 20" one.

Will look into that Asus. Thanks

Suspension Point's first shipment of Ute Ploier is up, for anyone that cares. A lot of really great pieces. drool.gif

Prices are surprisingly modest too.

Soooo, after having that e-mail exchange with Marc Hare about bonwelts, I decided just for fun to e-mail the folks at Paul Smith about their Kennedy shoe, which also has a welt around the outside. Here's their response:
Quote:
Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, I have been advised by our Shoe department that the welt on this particular shoe is purely for decoration purposes – the construction of this shoe is cemented. I hope this helps with your query!

Kind regards,

Claire Tassi
Customer Services Advisor
Paul Smith Limited

And suddenly, I feel like Roddy Piper in They Live, seeing bonwelts wherever I go. I could make a hobby out of this.

Bonus (Click to show)
I know a bunch of people (me included) had their eye on these Common Projects. I'm tempted to shoot the company an e-mail and uncover their insidious bonwelting schemes mwahahahah

Is the leg opening on new standards too wide for side-zips? I can't tell since mine aren't hemmed.
