Yeah... sorry it's probably not going to do its job. I just got my MDR last week and I had moved at the beginning of this month and the jacket was shipped to the old address. Despite me having the paperwork on file they did not forward it and when I called usps they basically told me there was nothing I could do and that they would ship it back to the sender. Luckily it was held at the post office for 5 days before being returned (and old & new addresses are close enough that it's the same post office) and I was able to pick it up before they shipped it back out.

The Nordstrom over on the eastside does a Dries buy - second time I've been able to handle any in person and the fabrics were absolutely amazing.

I've been on the phone with the local post office, it sounds promising. At the very least, he told me he won't deliver it. so worst case is it gets sent back. There's not a chance I could pick it up unfortunately, couple thousand miles away.

i hate talking about clothing with normals.

Dude, you know you have to recount for us your most recent awkward clothing conversations. For the lulz

As for me, I'm missing out. People rarely comment on what I wear or otherwise rope me into talking about niche clothing. Not like I'd take the bait anyway. I'm a slippery mofo when it comes to that sort of thing.

I was walking through an arboretum a couple days ago, wearing a Lock and Co linen flat cap, Gitman linen shirt, RRL selvage chinos, and cigar shell LWBs. As I passed an elderly couple, I could hear the husband say to the wife, "Look at that gentleman! Look at how nicely he is dressed." I gave him a tip of the hat and carried on.

You got two options:

1) You can't have a conversation about clothes with the average person you meet but they think you dress real cool

2) Everyone is really into clothes and when you show up somewhere in a new piece everyone knows what it is but no one is all that into it because it's just like engineered garments or some shit and they're all in luxe knits and someone awkwardly goes "oh that's... that's cool... its got uh... lot of pockets... you should show the Menswear boys" and they shoo you away to a repro VW Bus and you open the door and a wall of oregano smoke rolls out (sold to them as weed) and there's eight dudes all wearing button-down denim shirts (collar unbuttoned) and ties made of authentic ww2 army tent canvas and camo pocket squares (made of actual leaves, ghillie swag) and cargo jeans (20" inseam + 5" cuff) and lolita saddle shoes in blaze orange / cordovan colorway (with espadrille roping) and rap hats (with espadrille roping) and vintage 90s candy raver bead bracelets (with espadrille roping) and they all wearin their seatbelts (with espadrille roping) but they can STILL all reach to high five you 'cause their shoulder belt is unbuckled (make their own rules)

Pick one.

Lol. Option 2 sounds fun when you describe it like that!

We were learning about Rothko in class and teacher commented on my raf perfecto. Told her that raf was using Rothko as inspiration for this season. Snow dropping knowledge teacha.gif
