What are the criteria for what you're looking for? Jeans-style rear pockets or something?

basically, what parker said, a pair without the crease.

RFX, they're really nice, are they RO?

Whoa, sounds too good to be true. Can anyone substantiate this?

Now I wonder who makes Lanvin's sneakers. Surely there's not just a big factory in Italy with a shiny Lanvin sign hung out front where occasionally they invite others in to use their materials or sell their wares under a different name....

think he's talking about the older lanvin's. only the high tops with the new sole are made in italy, the rest are now made in portugal.

Yeah, my DA's are made in Italy as well, not Portugal.
DA is probably one of the reasons Lanvin made their own unique sole.

woah, i just had a revelation. check this out

so, yoox has a staggering number of "made in italy" products. like, it's crazy

And way back when, I watched the movie Gomorrah, part of which details the involvement of the mob in the italian clothing industry

So... I would love to know how much of the merchandise sold on Yoox is financed/managed/influenced by the mafia. They should label those brands as such, maybe with a little red dot or something. And every few months, they could have a promotion. Get 15% off the dotted items with the code GOTOTHEMATTRESSES@YOOX. boom

Probably. But I do like that although they ripped off their designs, they definitely are very well made, and not standard knock-off fare.

Yeah DA is a legit designer brand and I think they just got a hold of the factory that made the Lanvin shoes and copied them. So I do not really expect the quality to be that of Ebay or bootleg RO or Jordans.

There was a six-page article on the Yoox group in the New Yorker last week.  Unfortunately I can't link it to you because it's not one of the free ones, but if you're interested it's kinda cool.  To answer your question, probably very little.  The founder's basically a tech geek that saw an opening.

Meant to mention that article here. It was great. Just started getting the New Yorker again and forgot what an awesome magazine it is
