woah, weird to see someone else doing the leave-the-circle laces thing

anyone know anything about daniele alessandrini? it's one of those brands you always see on yoox but doesn't seem to appear anywhere else on the internet

I've had a pair of their Lanvin high top ripoffs for like 3 years now and they are holding up great.

interesting-- of all the shoe brands we talk about here, which would you say is most similar to DA?

Its basically a slightly* lower quality Lanvin top on the CP sole. However i've never owned nor tried on CP's so Im not sure how the sizing would compare. I usually wear a 45 in everything, and these are slightly looser than most.

i had a cotton/viscose blazer from yoox that I returned because it was too small.

No, don't worry, fits true to size, I was just convinced I was 2 sizes smaller than I actually am.

There's nothing overly formal about decent grey wool trousers unless they have a tuxedo stripe down the outseam.

What are the criteria for what you're looking for? Jeans-style rear pockets or something?

If you want something less formal, try looking for a pair without a crease (or removing the crease youself). It will make them more chino-like... thus less formal.

or you can just get these.
