you should go!!
i think by putting on an ocbd over a white poplin shirt it makes the outfit 10X less formal and you can prob get away with it without outerwear.

I know, but ocbd's aren't as nice as white poplin shirts! I guess I'll roll sleeves like you do when wearing without outerwear or knits.

Don't they have that little blue tag thing to prevent stuff like that? I guess it wouldn't be hard to mimic

Someone needs to troll Mr. Porter's #styleclinic, and ask things like how best to pair a Rick Owens leather with chinos and Aldens.

tbh, I think that there are ways of doing it, but you'd really have to play with proportions in a crazy way. Dropped crotch, super baggy but tapered chinos with the chunkiest Alden boot? Someone help me out here.

I used to have a pair of black nubuck indy's sans stitching that could work.

French stores aren't fast. Ordered stuff from two different stores last monday and over a week later they get in touch with regards to things that needed to be sorted before they could ship it out.

Isn't Europe generally out of the office in August? Maybe not the hardworking northern Europeans.

Well, that's true, didn't think about that. Southern Europe have their vacation in august while northern Europe have it in july.
