fabrics don't feel as nice. i'm all about the hand tbh. if you don't care about your knits being slightly to actually noticeably itchy then whatevs, they still look beautiful. i am now apparently a size 4 in most of the stuff (ie sizing is still stupidly inconsistent and this year much larger). yeah, I still think it's very well styled stuff, but the quality of the stuff I saw was for the first time, kinda questionable imo. the one jacket they had with a button-in navajo-esque shawl thing was kinda cool but shapeless in an inbetween cool and not so flattering way, the shawl was actually the coolest part but was a little big and I didn't feel like fussing with it too much, but much like my fake-fur button in coat from two falls ago (weird) it has fucking buttons on it, maybe you could pull it apart from the coat and wrap it in a way that the buttons are obscured but still. not really.
meanwhile I went into the marni store and tears came to my eyes as the sa's brought me out piles of immaculate knits. admittedly they are an order of magnitude more expensive.
edit: should be noted this is just the first shipment of stuff, and there were actually maybe six or seven pieces that I saw. the colorblock red/blue sweater the sus point had on presale, also available in a nice brown/ochre colorway (this was disappointingly not super soft and actually slightly itchy). a typical grey/blue/red block/check shirt. a thin black viscose/wool standard schneider style cardi with little low shawl collar. the very nice looking black-grey-white mix pull over, which was probably my favorite. the brown jacket with button-in navajo-shawl. scarves that matched the pullovers. feel like i'm forgetting one or two thigns. they'll be getting more stuff in in the next few weeks.
