^I feel sorry for Singapore buyers, man. So many bad experiences with offers and it just gives off that vibe of "Oh man, I feel like I'm going to get ripped off here."

That sort of PM is very, very rare and personally I have not seen many of those. I would have no problem if the PMs were like that.

That said, I am eternally grateful for the B&S system here. Selling on eBay or even SuFu seems to be infinitely harder.

I've occasionally forgotten to PM people back after showing initial interest (sorry g and others), always feel like a dick for doing that. Usually, if I'm sending a borderline lowball offer, I usually frame it by saying if they "ever decide to let it go for that price." I try to be as polite as possible, really hate when buyers or sellers are dicks. Would not sell to a jerkoff unless he pays full asking price, I feel attached in some regard to a lot of the pieces I sell.

I think if someone's price is a bit high, and it's been sitting for quite a while, a polite lower offer is deserved. Then it's up to the seller as to how to respond.

Sufu is a clusterfuck and I don't enjoy dealing with a lot of the members there. I just need to do a pop up shop like bostonroll. Who's in?

I'll send you 3.18$ and a chewed piece of gum in a wadded up wrapper (as a regular paypal payment, when I get paid next month) and you will overnight to me in Singapore at your expense, understood?"

I get so much of that shit from people in Singapore I've tried shy away from doing any international transactions, especially big ticket items.

got that bao in your oven

sort of nsfw but rather funny especially since their govt is behind this concept. That just would not happen in the US

I organized a SF "yard sale" a few years ago (MC stuff). Was a nice concept but attendance was really disappointing. Expect 20% of the people who said they're coming to actually show up. I really enjoyed spending a few hours with the other sellers there and getting to know them.

Yeah, it definitely does. I will say though that I just had a pleasant transaction with someone from Singapore today and it's not the first time.

I just ignore it. I see lots of #menswear and gq suit jumping photos, roll my eyes and close the tab.

I had suit jumping and tie adjusting photos of me printed in the CU paper in 2007 I feel like I should throw my self off my balcony in a suit while adjusting a knit tie for that. (only 1 floor might hurt though)

me and clothes:

accidentally nicked a small hole under the collar of one of my hidden placket UU shirts. i tried to cut the plastic stay to fit into the length as i thought collar shrunk.

after digging in my zip-lock bag i found the correct collar stay for the UU shirts.

i want to throw away the shirt now though because it is imperfect. stupid minuscule hole underneath the collar where no one can see.
