+1, and if you just go to soho and off broadway, there are a hell lot of stores.. i really like going to the Y-3 store for some reason. Art galleries + stores like Balenciaga, CDG, and some other stuff are in the chelsea area. Brooklyn for epaulet, hickorees, Also as much as Opening Ceremony sucks for ordering on the internet, their b&m is pretty awesome, cept the SAs are only nice to you if you dress nice.

Like what? My girlfriend has been meaning to pick up some new lingerie, so this would be helpful for both her and I.

grandad collar shirts are surprisingly versatile

picked up some trousers from the tailor.

Much better

After another 2-3 pairs and my dozen plus shirts, I'll be good.
Amazing what some alterations can do.

Learning to pick out items you like to wear and finding a decent tailor is nice, not sure why I put the latter off for so long.

For NYC, I would also recommend Project No. 8, which is in the LES, and Assembly NY, which is a hop skip, and jump away. In God We Trust is also very close by, as is Self Edge. On Bond Street, Billy Reid is just down the block from Oak.
