Going to London for a couple of days next week. Which shops should I check out?

Already have DSM, LN-CC, Uniqlo, Present, MHL & COS on the list.

Thanks!

Two packages were supposed to be delivered USPS today:

One now says delivered at 3:59 PM, but there is no package and I was home at this time.

The other says a notice was left at 4:29 PM, but there is no notice. Cool.

I hope you have an appointment for LN-CC if you plan on visiting them. Hostem is definitely worth checking out.

Anyone here wears Givenchy bottoms and can comment on sizing? I feel like whatever1234 may have bought a pair at one point

I hate when shops that allow you to use PayPal but do not let you confirm via back on their website. So when you click continue at the PayPal screen = buy

Size.30 maybe too small now fu, hoping those waist tabs will give me enough room

I ordered a pair of pants without looking at the rear picture. Do not like. Hopefully I can sort that out or it will be a rather costly mistake lol8[1].gif unless I could dye the silly panels to match? Then it would be an awesome mistake.

Also yet again baffled and very frustrated by my CC's fraud prevention. Allow a high dollar transaction at a random shop. Block a transaction for 1/3 the amount somewhere I bought from before.ffffuuuu.gif

Starting to realize how much money I actually spend on clothes. I think I may just pick up a few more absulte wardrobe essentials (sneaks, boots), then call it good for a while. Lots of other shit I want/need right now, need to get outta the game for a bit.

Golf, by a mile. My manual TDI is loads of fun to drive, and so much better engineered than the Fit.

if those fit they will be the last black trousers i pickup for a bit.

i already stopped w/ the footwear happy.gif

few more pieces of outerwear and knits and I'll put everything on cruise control. though knits is a whole other beast that i am too intimidated to take on at the moment.
still looking at uniqlo basics for that.

This is where I am at. I want to pick up a few more pairs of shorts as sale season winds down, maybe another 1 or 2 shoes, and then stop buying for a long time so I can take stock of what I have, what I actually wear, and what I need altered (or should realistically sell).

I anticipate posting in the Contentedness thread soon!

I really, REALLY, Rffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gifLLY dislike the new Forward model.

Their selection also seems to have gone to shit, despite the fact it was over the past few months they were supposed to have been transforming themselves into something worthy of competing with Mr. Porter et al. (Translation: We got taken over by some harridan and now we are focused on womenswear. Hugs and kisses!)

Right now I do not imagining myself buying from them again, which is too bad because they really took e-commerce forward a few steps with Revolve back in the day. The torch has been passed, I guess.

Forward has been balls since they "improved" the website.

I posted this in the closet thread on SZ, I am a relatively moderate buyer compared to many here but I still accumulate a lot of stuff. Looks nice like that but I guess I should cut it down a little.
