two offenders right here! no no no. no excuses. if eye contact is that awkward then you're in trouble, because there are eyes everywhere, not just on the subway. hangover (or migraine) is really the only acceptable excuse, because then the glasses are actually functional and their medical necessity is more important than how dumb they make you look, like with a neck brace.

This applies to people who have a healthy amount of haters.... They provide good shade as hater blockers.

if it's an obvious crazy (once saw a guy peeing in a water bottle on the train and not doing a very good job of hiding it) then you should probably get far away anyway.

then you are an alcoholic, but if they're being used to block light because you're experiencing painful photosensitivity then you're in the clear. see neck brace analogy.

I fucking hate eBay.

There is an item I want for sale from a US seller.

When I click "ask seller a question" it gives me an automated message saying I'm not allowed to ask a question, presumably because he set his auction to ship only to the US and I'm in Canada. Well, that's why I want to contact him, geniuses, because I'm willing to pay extra. And there is no "US ONLY" disclaimer actually written in the auction, so I have every reason to believe it is at least worth a try.

I can't contact him with the "ask a question" link while logged into eBay.ca. I try logging into eBay.com, but no luck. It's checking my actual address, not just the site I'm using.

I go to his homepage/user profile page. There is a "send this member a message" link. I click it -- still the same totally helpful automated message.

I decide to innocently register a new eBay account with a fake address. There's no way he can avoid my question -- I certainly hope at this point -- once my address is supposedly American....

While signing up, eBay demands a phone number: there is no way to complete registration without answering a phone call. Obviously my area code is not American, so once again I'm fucked.

There is seriously no fucking way to contact a member when you really really feel the need, no matter how many hoops you are willing to jump through to make him an offer he can't refuse??? fuck this shit!! ffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gif

That sucks, but to be fair to the seller, shipping internationally is kind of a headache regardless of whether the buyer is willing to pay extra, and I'll wager many sellers consider themselves too busy/lazy to deal with the hassle. And the process of shipping to Canada is (strangely) not too different from shipping to Italy or Sri Lanka or Russia.

how high do you cuff tapered khakis ( w/ laceless shoes or low top sneakers) ? right above the ankle or more?

I can be both hungover and in a club. You just have no relevent experience with alcoholism.
