and if a video game is one of the few things that ties a generation together no wonder the generation is so screwed up and disconnected with microtrends ruling a disconnected society. thankfully, i'm 64 and well beyond your childish ways bigstar[1].gif

Duuuude, I used to play NHL 94 all the time. I was always the Devils and my bud was always the Rangers (and he always won, just like real life ffffuuuu.gif ) Devils will have their revenge this year!

I was always Detroit in NHL94 because Federov was so fast and awesome and the only player rated a 99 (iirc). Loved pretending to be an announcer while i plowed my way through the playoffs.

I'm gonna make Wayne Gretzky's head bleed for super-fan #99 over here.

Wait, wasn't Pavel Bure a 99 too? He had to be at least as fast.

edit: and how did you not use the Canucks? Home team (Victoria, B.C., yes?) and they beat the Red Wings that year.

Seriously though, the difficulty I bet that one dude had trouble with the "double jab, right uppercut, left hook, right straight" because he can't string together punches without hitches. He can probably do a 1-2 or a 1-4 or a 1-1-2, but you try to string together a 1-1-6-3-2, and unless you have your feet under you properly, and the footwork is ingrained in you, you will look stupid. The double jabs have you on the ball of your left foot. The right uppercut, at least conventionally, plants the left, and puts you on the ball of your right. The left hook transfers the weight so that you are on the ball of your left again, with the right planted, and then the right straight switches the feet again. To a seasoned boxer, or anyone who uses boxing style striking, it's a pretty obvious combination, but apparently not to these guys.

It's amazing how uncoordinated some people are. Maybe I have an unfair advantage as I've played sports all my life and have been boxing for 7ish years or so, but those guys in the video are exact copies of some of the guys who go to my gym. Not even new guys either, but people who have been coming for months. I just don't understand how you can be so unaware of your own body. It's so awkward as to be painful at times.

actually, I'm thinking I might just cough up the money for a Silent t at some point. I haven't found anything cheap that works. It seems silly to spend $100+ on a T until I think that some of my favorite Ts are almost ten years old, so as long as it's right I'll hold onto it for a long time

silent quaility isn;t taht good to spend three figures on. wait for sales or use the ever-lasting code on forward.

although it has been getting better each season.
Silent t shirts will not last near ten years though! Maybe two or three...

Sigh the '94 Canucks run was the greatest

If a man is painful to watch on the dance floor he is also likely to suck in the dojo
