Fashion needs something akin to Top Gear. Like something that makes it so entertaining that even people not interested can get enjoyment out of it.

Purely my opinion, but that's just it. You don't want to help yourself, I don't care.
I've known many 'bigger' people ask me for diet advice. I'll talk to them and I can tell within a short period of time if I'm even going to waste my time. I can tell if someone is genuinely going to try and make a change or if they're going to write down everything I tell them then eat a box of twinkles later that night.

when you're addicted you don't have enough want for change

i think it's true it's partly willpower, but it's also true that there's a lot of neurochemical changes that occur that make it difficult for addicted people to change behavior

if somebody could change their diet that easily they would've changed it a lot earlier

Hell yes. With epic adventures including going to the arctic circle to test out winter outerwear and conceptual forests to measure camo effectiveness. Would watch.

How is it cheating? Who are you hurting? You're still doing the work, learning the material.

Maybe because the items offered by Rick Owens are very often "sweatpants" and "tees"?

i inherited drug addiction from my mom. it's all genetics. how else could i sneak into her room everyday and steal her percocets and xanax? however my cocaine addiction is something i stumbled upon by myself. i'm proud of my discovery. without it i wouldn't be the scumbag that everyone has come to love.

Academic doping. Would you get A's otherwise? It really just makes being lazy a nonissue. Undergrad is a joke anyway.

problem is cars are actually exciting. doing this with clothes basically results in "what not to wear"

I only did it once in awhile in school, I just don't really think you're cheating anyone, unless maybe you're in a program where the grades are curved.  I'm not really endorsing it, I'm pretty indifferent on the issue.

That'd be awesome. I want a grail-search segment too where people go into obscure thrift shops or reach out to random people to find impossible to find pieces and talk about why they were so iconic and how they were produced etc etc.

Also a treasure hunt expedition to the Afghani desert where they try and find Altieri's secret shoe/leather burying spot. Bet there are all sorts of boots in my size out there waiting to be unearthed.
