Photos like that make the world a better place.

all saints used to sell rick basics, pretty much. I still have a long sleeve double layer that even has diagonal seam details. Amusingly, they weren't cheap (relatively cheap, sure, but not on the scale you guys are talking). This was back in like '08 or so, though - lately they think they have some sort of "identity," or something, which has resulted in every piece they produce being ridiculously boring.

they dont have an identity, its still major ripoffs.

the footwear alone looks like the whole baller boot thread.

I do have a "rick" style shirt from 3 seasons ago, the asymmetric seam shows up on the front and it looks uneven worn, its horrible in comparison but I guess its decent...im wearing it right now actually at home while studying. steezy studying

On topic: "Ring" is pretty much drkshdw, if you're into that. Not sure how much the stuff costs, though, but for the last few seasons it's been pretty much exactly a rick diffusion line.

there's a lot of "the soloist" shit at allsaints, lol. I've even seen old number nine. The jackets and outerwear are the biggest offenders. Shitty ass version of julius riders, and rick mid collars, with zippers that cant even zip or get stuck every 5 cm.

I mean, I actually like that about allsaints, because I can always get a cheap thing I don't really want, but kinda do. I've scored some dropcrotch leggings there which were decent for $60, better than buying attachment, rick, etc for $400 for something miniscule. Also, womens beanies are a decent rick alternative.

Their outerwear is definitely the worst offender, but I think they're under new management which probably explains the shift in basics. Their womenswear is a lot better than the mens

RFT: Vogue UK serves all their high-res show images from a CDN with an easily guessable URL scheme - downloading every major collection from the last three years as I type this icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

What about the baller boot thread looking like the baller boot thread?

Ripoff? or inspiration?

for me some variation on this :

damir linen jacket*
featherweight kurta / linen shirt
uniqlo linen trousers rolled up / summer wool damir trousers
black cdg canvas sneakers / ann sandals

when the sun sets and the cool night rolls in i add zamb linen scarf and damir linen/cotton cap

other days will include duckshadow drawps and more kurtas and light tanks, also dries cropped trousers for the hottest of days since they're so good (and 100% better than geller ones)

*assuming it fits properly and not the flaring way that kept me from buying it before. if not my plans are ruined until i find a different linen jacket...
