Could someone that owns the dayton or dayton/W&H service boots in 11 or 11.5 PM me measurements of the outsole length?  I was supposed to receive 11.5 but they're marked 11, trying to figure out what I have.  Thanks.

SF is a bad place for noobs in the same way the 41 is. There's a contingent of long-time users who all BS, make inside jokes, and post the majority of the long-lasting threads, a few newer people working their way into prominence, and then a bunch of lurkers who post the occasional genuine question and otherwise passively consume.

whoa, the 41? whats your handle on bf?

This is interesting. I mean, did you wear colorful lacoste polos because you liked them, and then your taste changed upon arrival to the forums?
Or were you just gifted them by your mum and didn't care/know better?

I like the idea of a forum which can be used as a resource. Obviously this is gonna inevitably influence taste a bit too, but I don't think we wanna see people completely dropping what they like, do we?

I wore them because I google'd fashion shit on the internet when I decided I wanted to dress better when i first started college. I saw clothing as an avenue for self-improvement. I found some english blog, which recommended polos and lots of color(LOL)..I also bought a lot of topman haha. That's why I eventually moved to allsaints, which led me here.

believe it or not, when I posted on here back then I knew what goth ninja shit was from doing a little search, and I thought everyone looked like a fucking freak weirdo, and was laughing my ass off at fitpics. I can't explain what caused me to decide I wanted to dress that way, I literally just woke up and decided to...I have no other explanation. There's a huge difference in mindset you gain when you venture into this hobby. It grows on you..

I'd ask please be nice but I know you guys won't nod[1].gif

I'll take a crack:

- Embracing the drape is going to force you to finally retire those painted-on tees you have. I'd argue they're not flattering, anyway, but under the scope of what you're leaning toward, they're definitely a no go.
- The UU pants is an example of when trying to shimmy into clothes go wrong. Pants like that seem intended to be worn more relaxed, which is why I don't get why so many dudes in the Uniqlo thread are trying to wear the smallest size they can. These would look cool if they weren't so clingy. As it is, they just look like long bike shorts on you.
- The UU rider (?) accentuates your hips when it's zipped up. I would avoid zipping it, or again, maybe size up.

Thanks APK
- I hear yea. I feel though when I size up my hips / chest area gets accentuated even more though. It might be a insecurity thing though
-Ok. I think it might be the cut of the pants too, because these are a large. I think they made the leg opening way too small
-Ok

Yea me either. I had a terrible season this year because I didn't ride anywhere near enough, but headed to Cali to work at Google for the summer and bringing my bike, so I can finally drop all this extra weight and start taking names on the hills again. Does the Pinterest stuff I post actually pop up? I thought I had it set to only me or w/e, but I guess not.

I thought those UU chinos were gym leggings. You need to size up 12.
